Cat food is actually recommended as a substitute when you don't have any real hedgehog diet food. I never heard of it giving them stomach aches.

We have an entire family of hedgehogs living in our back garden. My mum gives them cat food, peanut butter, mincemeat, and scrambled eggs every night, and usually stays up until 3:00am to watch them.

you can give them wet cat food but it should be low fat. people tend to use the wet food for when their hedgie is older

I have a hedgehog named Spikes, but he's always really scared. I can't even hold him without him jumping out of my hands. One thing that is funny about him is that his hiding spot and sleeping spot is under his food bowl. XD

Was that wet cat food? I think youre only suppose to give'em the dry stuff because thats got a lot of fat. (I just heard this) (Thats what I give Sonic) but I think they're only suppose to have around 5% fat cat food... What a CUTIE though.

It's good you gave him cat food and not milk. My hedgehog died a few days ago. My mum thinks he might be hibernating, but i'm sure hes dead :(
