You make an interesting point and men just love breasts because they are looking at them in an erotic way. Breasts are beautiful. However, when they interviewed other moms on 20/20 who were bf their children they said they were doing it for nurturing purposes. When women had a lot of children, they couldn't be bf them that long. I read that our bodies really aren't meant to have a baby for about 2 yrs after the first because it depletes a lot of vits. So, they probably bf for 2 yrs.

I didn't beleive it when I read it. So I watched it. It was weird at first to see it. But the reason the kids said is because they liked it. The mother wasn't forcing them. The reason most people say it is wrong is because animals ween their babies when their teeth come in and they bite. People subconsciencely follow animals. If animals did it for life, humans would. Most men look to nurse almost right away once they re-hook up with women. So how could they say no. Just my opinion.

If I look at how long female cats breast feed. They wear them off it in the instant the kitten can eat solids. But that does not stop the grown kitten in another pregnancy to breast feed taking advantage. :p So is it natural to breast feed a 9 year old? I would say no by looking at nature itself.
