While pregnant, I prepared for everything BUT breastfeeding. All that was availiable were books/articles w/ diagrams/still photos that I had to disect. The lactation consultant cost $ everytime we visited w/ her. Breastfeeding was a challenge. I found this video 1 month after my daughter was born & it helped tremendously! How else are new mothers supposed to learn these things if no one is willing to make videos like this? For some moms, it takes a lot of work to build breastfeeding confidence.

Do not feed on demand. If baby snacks they will not recieve a full feed and won't have much rich hind milk. Also mother needs sleep.

This is dangerous and should be outlawed. Breastfeeding leads to Autism and other diseases. Mothers who insist on doing this damaging act need to take it into the restroom as nobody wants to see this disgusting act. Feed your kids a bottle for crying out loud.

I tried my hardest to breastfeed I had a lactation consultant come to my house and try and help and I was getting stressed out because my daughter was not latching properly and so tired from trying I gave up after a week and tried breast pump. I couldn't produce much milk that way. I ended up formula feeding my baby and felt ashamed but I kept telling myself that she had to get food some how. I am going to try again the next time around but it sure was not easy for me.
